ATTENTION LYNX (SXi1) USERS!

In November 2017 there was a network outage that affected the Lynx Internet streaming services. The network outage has been resolved and the Lynx Internet streaming services restored.
If your Lynx was able to stream music from the Internet streaming services in 2017 before this outage then that confirms you already have the latest S/W version SBP_FRO_335 and it should be working now. Please try your Lynx again.

You can check your software version by going to Settings >> About Lynx >> Device Information. If the "OS Version" number is lower than SBP_FRO_335 you need to update the S/W version. The S/W update corrects a security problem that will restore the ability to connect to our Internet streaming services. If you only use satellite service this update is not needed.
If you own an SXi1 with an active subscription and would like Sirius XM Satellite Radio to perform the update for you, please follow the instructions below. This Update and Return Program is available for a limited time only. No claims will be accepted after December 31, 2020.
How it works:

Sirius XM Satellite Radio will pay the cost of updating your SXi1 and shipping fees. Shipping instructions are below. |
2. |
You will be able to click on a link to print out a UPS prepaid label to use to ship your Lynx unit to Sirius XM’s authorized repair facility (FTH Group). Please pack your unit securely to prevent damage in transit and take it to a UPS authorized shipping center. Keep a copy of the label for tracking purposes. |

Send only the SXi1 radio - no docks, accessories, ear buds, batteries or battery covers should be sent. Please remove the SXi1 battery and battery cover, as well as the Micro SD card before shipping and keep them safe with your other accessories.
IMPORTANT: Sirius XM is not responsible for returning any accessories sent with the SXi1. |

Sirius XM Satellite Radio will make every effort to retain all recorded and personal media on your SXi1, but cannot guarantee that it will not be erased.

Customers are encouraged to back up all personal music and media before sending their SXi1 as part of the Update and Return Program. |

Recorded Sirius XM content cannot be backed up or copied from the SXi1. |

Your Sirius XM SXi1 will be updated and shipped back to you within 3 business days of receipt.

Retain your claim number to return to this website to track the progress of your SXi1 update. Your claim status will be updated with the following information:

UPS tracking number for shipment |

You will receive an email with the UPS tracking Number when your updated SXi1 is shipped back to you. |

Instructions for sending in your Sirius XM SXi1:

Fill out the information in the online form below. |

Print out the shipping information by clicking FILE and PRINT in your browser. This shipping information includes your claim number to track progress of your SXi1 update. |

Remove the battery and battery cover and micro SD card and store in a safe place. Do not send these parts. Safely pack the SXi1 receiver in a suitable container. Do not include any accessories. IMPORTANT: SIRIUS XM is not responsible for returning any accessories sent with the SXi1. |

After completing this online form you will be able to click on a link to print a UPS prepaid label to use to ship your Lynx unit to Sirius XM’s authorized repair facility. Affix the label to your package and take it to a UPS authorized shipping center. Keep a copy of the tracking number for your records. |

Insure your shipment and use a delivery confirmation service. SIRIUS XM is not responsible for radios lost or damaged during shipment. |
